A method choice and a cultural route to the photographers, with the photographers.

The fine art lab, located in Daverio (VA - Italy) is part of a network of few selected fine art photographers and printers, following excellence technical standards and whose workflow come from the fundamental experience of Antonio Manta, major Italian fine art expert, whose lab represents a place of worship for the fine art print in Italy.

The lab offers services for the digital fine art photography printing, both color and black and white, for amateur and professional photographers, who want to print their photographs by the highest quality standards and with the best esthetics profits, for exhibitions, museums, publications, portfolios, etc... through a "crafted" workflow.

By appointment, I carry the post-production out (black and white conversions, photo editing, beauty ecc...), together with the photographer, using calibrated graphics monitors and suggesting the best paper. In the end I hand polish the printings using special resins to increase the preservation over time and make them even more precious. The lab makes use of a selection of Canson Infinity paper, the only no optical brighteners certified. The lab is equipped professional plotters, including the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF6350, the TIPA Award 2010 best large format printer winner.

According to the Wilhelm Imaging Research, researches, an istitute handling stability and preservation researches for digital color photographs printings, the use of Canon inks, rather than Epson inks, combined with carte Canson Infinity paper, ensures better stability and preservation over time of photographic printings.

The workflow, makes an artwork of every single photograph, with great visual impact and over time long lasting. The price, with an amazing value for money, includes postproduction and hand polishing. I can also fulfill on panels and frames assembling, exhibitions mounting and professional negative and slides scanning. No web uploads printing.
